Every kid who’s ever watched a western knows about fool’s gold. As for the final? I got it by just going down the alphabet. Fortunately, F-G-H comes up almost immediately.
The original “Nightmare Alley” (1947) that was in yesterday’s Film Noir category is going to on Movies TV Network on Thursday evening (7:00 pm Central). Stars: Tyrone Power and Joan Blondell.
It was a $2K clue and Cris got it right.
A tough finale to be sure. I mean, there were no less than 48 countries to choose from, and time certainly wasn’t on anybody’s side.

Yeah, that’s true — I thought about putting Turkmenistan in the right place but that’s how they had it on Countries of the World.

Thanks, Sam! I didn’t get FJ! but I did get that “all that glitters” triple stumper because of a Gunsmoke episode I saw not too long ago.
It was about this guy named Cleavus who thought he struck gold and was rich so he decided that entitled him to marry Miss Kitty. He was a fool. lol
Well, Cris might not have known this final jeopardy answer but this is his third runaway game so he will be hard to defeat. Congrats, Cris on your well played game today.
