The range of actresses from Garbo to Knightley clearly indicated it was an old-time classic. Once I saw the Russian name in the bunch, the answer came to me quickly.

A LOT of stumpers tonight. I was able to get a few: the “I Shot” person; Aetna’s home state; the Stones song; the type of complex; and the Bulge forest.

One more thing: Nancy made a near-fatal error on that last DD. With only 2 clues left, both of which turned out to be stumpers, she bet $4K instead of $3K. Either amount would have given her the lead had she been correct. The $4K turned out to give Tyler a runaway. Ultimately, it didn’t matter how much she wagered, but it certainly could have, had she bet $3K and missed but also bet the farm and nail the Final.

I do have the 1935 film ‘Anna Karenina’ starring Greta Garbo. Unfortunately, I didn’t select it in tonight’s game.

  3. Lou says:

Sorry nancy, but it wasn’t your day today. But still though this triple stumper wasn’t that tough because as a movie buff myself, I have seen Anna Karenenina previously since the Movie trivia mentioned this question before. Nice play today by tyler so I hope he gets another win or so. No one here is a fan of historical movies sad to say except me. Let’s hope tomorrow will make things easier for tyler if he can string together 4 wins. By the way VJ wasn’t there another final jeopardy response about Vivien Leigh previously?

    • Ismael Gomez says:

You said that the final was an easy one? I was just asking.

    • VJ says:

I can’t figure out why you keep asking me questions like that, Lou? I mean, your comment indicates that you think you’re the only one here who is a fan of historical movies. I could be mistaken but I think that means you’re the one person on here most likely to know what time period films Vivien Leigh starred in. In any event, there have been plenty of clues about her most famous role.

  4. Ismael Gomez says:

Tough final as we got a triple stumper. As usual nobody knows about movies.
