    Wow, a very risky DD for both Erik and Traci put them in contention, and he won again by a margin of $1. With that, Scott McFadden, Dave Mattingly, and Ali Hassan could be in trouble because Marty Cunningham is OUT.

      @John Christian
      They are. I don’t think J will let any 3 game winner play in the ToC. I believe they’ll keep on playing till no”3 gamer” is left. Hence my strong hunch that Erik will win game 4 tomorrow, though moneywise he would be already on the ToC as #15 overall.

    Congrats to Erik on his third win and to the triple solve by all the players. He locked this game, preventing Traci from winning. Although she didn’t know about the lion ,witch, and the wardrobe, I certainly hope she is an avid book reader. Also VJ and John when did you guys read Beowulf?

    • John B./I. says:

      @Lou
      When I was in 6th grade of Gymnasium = HS in America, at an age of about 16 1/2 in English. That was waaaaay back in Austria but I had a really excellent English teacher. I still remember his name since a “Meistersinger” had the same one. Dr. HANS SACHS.
      There was a real Hans Sachs, a “Meistersinger” who then was incorporated into Wagner’s opera “Die Meistersinger von Nuernberg”. Funny how you remember some things from 50 years ago….

    • VJ says:

      @Lou, I don’t remember how old I was. I mainly remember that ye olde English made my head hurt back then.

    Congrats to Erik. He’ll win 1 or 2 more games and then only 3 three game winners will be left. Right now Erik has won only 3 games himself, so a #4 is necessary to “weed out” the 3 game winners.Marty is already out, the next one will be Ali as soon as another 4 game winner emerges (besides Erik, he already replaced Marty and Ali is still alive, regardless of how many games Erik wins.
    Had Traci bet more than 3.200 at the first DD and had gotten it right she would have won the game . Looks like she would have made the right FJ wager.

    Marty Cunningham is out.
