Jessica finished in the lead with $7,400. Siobhan was second with $4,200 and Evan was last with $2,400.

Siobhan found the last Daily Double in “Bartlett’s” under the $2,000 clue, with 3 clues to go after it. In the lead with $16,600, she had $2,400 more than Jessica in second place. She bet $1,600 and she was RIGHT.

Siobhan finished in the lead with $19,400. Jessica was next with $14,200 and Evan was in third place with $8,400.

It needed to be obvious that this was not about singers, but mobsters.” He eventually landed on the idea of turning the R into a gun. Series creator David Chase says he thought the idea was corny at first.

I mean even if you haven’t watched the show though. The Sopranos won so many awards and is referenced all over pop culture now. Even the logo was displayed all over for a while. I am low key shocked that you can know words like “squall” and obscure history facts without knowing the Sopranos (which I’ve never seen).
Don’t be too hard on the poor girl. I know a woman who has a PhD in Botany and has a Masters in Nursing and never watched tv or movies. In conversation I once compared a person to George Costanza and she had zero idea what I was talking about. Some people may know everything about History and Literature from the beginning of time, but have no idea who Tony Soprano is.
For anyone who has not seen the show, I should explain the reference to the Mayor of Munchkinland on the old Sopranos clue in the recap. It was Tony Soprano’s nickname for the Rusty Millio character played by Frankie Valli (who is 5′ 4″ tall)
All clues played, but a very DIFFICULT FJ! because only Jessica came out with the right response while Evan and Siobhan tried to figure it out. As Alex said, you could get it immediately or you struggle with it because TV show logos seems rather difficult.
And the trigger on the R was very small. When you see something often, you see the main things but tend to overlook details.Proven time and again by psychologists and psychiatrists.
Congrats once again to Jessica and I.am happy that all the clues were played. Siolbhan’s response of Mozart in the jungle isn’t registered in my mind. Did you know what she was going for VJ and John? Or perhaps it was George of the jungle that was on her mind? Anyway a fifty thousand dollar haul is impressive. But since everyone here who is a fan of the sopranos shouldn’t miss it. James gandolfini will always be in our hearts forever.
@Lou, I watched a couple of episodes of that Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle a couple of years ago but couldn’t get into it. It really is about music. I guess Siobhan was trying to fit the gun into the R in that title.

I agree, JP. I guess it’s all in what you watch or pay any attention to. I didn’t have a clue on that Nebraska state soft drink but my daughter knew it off the “Oh, yeah!” (from “Family Guy,” she said).
Surprisingly, to me anyhow, she didn’t know FJ despite the rest of us watching that show for years and years. (I watched this in reruns constantly when I first moved to Texas and I was homesick). If they had the theme song in “TV from the Other Room,” she’d get it though.
@VJ- you didn’t know the Kool-Aid guy’s “Oh Yeah” catchphrase? What type of soft, sugary, bevs were you drinking during your misspent youth?!🤔
yeah, JJ, it’s true. My daughter said if Trebek had delivered it with more enthusiasm, they would have known it, but I have no memory of that catchphrase. I don’t remember drinking a lot of Kool-Aid either but I do remember this one jingle they had at sometime that went Kool-Aid Kool-Aid, tastes great, something something, can’t wait!
I don’t remember that phrase at all either, VJ and JJ, I had no idea what the answer to that clue was.
One thing I did not take into consideration was that not everybody has HBO.
But congratulations to Jessica, she repeated after all and with quite a nice haul for 2 days!!!!!!! I thought the 2 ladies would get it, especially since Siobhan is an attorney. But it could be a real estate or other than a criminal attorney.
For a change all clues were played, hallelujah!
I think I average about 70% solving FJ, but you could have given me a week and I would not have come up with The Sopranos.
This seems like a “Either You Know It Or You Don’t”. Very easy if you’ve watched the show. But if you’ve never seen it, like me, it seems almost impossible.

Well, opera> FJ title could have helped, but probably not in 30 seconds or less. Kind of tough to connect things that are not THAT obvious under stress and in limited time.
And as a PS: J seems to like extremes. While Mon was kind of tough, Havana and today seemed kind of easy (IF you get HBO). Still only one correct. Havana sure was a softball.
