I thought Dmitri flubbed his big line. Did he REALLY always want to say “I’ll bet $200”? I’ve never been to a taping, so, I wonder if he had a chance to re-record that.

This was a surprisingly easy final jeopardy but not surprised Amy missed this one. Her opponents have had a good opening round so far today. Does anyone here think amy could end up losing in the long run if she keeps missing final?

I’m sure Amy will end up losing sooner or later, Lou. Don’t they all?

I think she’ll stop missing Final Jeopardy when she stops making big bets. 🤣🤣🤣

As I mentioned yesterday, it’s unlikely that anyone is going to outscore Amy over the first two rounds. Someone needs to stay within range and nail the final while she misses. I thought Dimitri might have a shot at doing just that tonight, but he was outplayed by the ladies in the 2nd round.

The older I get, the harder it is to have instant recall. I knew the final was the Reese Witherspoon law school movie, which I haven’t seen, but it didn’t come to me in time.

Fred Hoyle, who, as mentioned, coined the “Big Bang”, was a life-long atheist. He coined the term derisively, insisting that the Big Bang couldn’t possibly be correct because it pointed to a beginning of the universe, which he believed implied a creator.
