Dallas Spoiler: Uncle Bobby Blames John Ross for J.R.’s Death

TNT has released more clips and photos from the upcoming episode J.R.’s Masterpiece when the Ewings will gather to mourn the loss of J.R., or at least a few of them. As John Ross says: “Half these people are here to make sure he’s dead. The other half are here for the free drinks.”

Bobby Ewing lights into John Ross believing that he is withholding some information concerning J.R.’s death. Bobby thinks John Ross knows why J.R. was in Mexico. Didn’t John Ross think he was in Abu Dhabi? Bobby thinks it’s got something to do with the Venezuelan thugs John Ross was associating with, who weren’t even Mexican, Bobby. Well, we bemoaned the intensity of the hatred that Bobby displays for his nephew last season. We have come to like John Ross a little less — well, maybe a lot less — than in the first season ourselves, but at a time like this, it doesn’t seem right for Bobby to be attacking the son of the deceased. Maybe Bobby is just angry and very tired of being sensitive.

Another spoiler that is supposed to happen is that Emma Brown, newly arrived on Southfork, will offer John Ross the comfort he sorely needs. And didn’t we predict that she will fall under his evil spell? Yes! 2 Episodes ago LOL! But that was pretty much a no-brainer. Christopher has Elena. John Ross and Pamela Barnes was “just business” and “revenge sex.” So what is John Ross supposed to be — a monk? Unfortunately for Emma, who has just gotten away from an abusive daddy, John Ross doesn’t really know how to love anyone — he just knows how to use people.
