Catherine Deneuve Honored in Russia

French actress Catherine Deneuve was honored at the 34th Moscow International film festival in Russia on June 30, 2012. She was awarded the Special Prize for the Outstanding Achievement In the Career of Acting and Devotion to the Principles of Konstantin Stanislavsky’s school.

At 68, Deneuve is still  stunning, looking gorgeous in a red outfit (blondes always look great in red, don’t they), as she greeted the public. Deneuve has publicly stated that she has never had plastic surgery, crediting her looks to good genes.

And she continues to work in films. Her 2011 movie “Beloved” was screened at the Festival. It will enjoy a limited release in the United States this August. In another film, “God Loves Caviar,”due to be released in Greece in October 2012, Deneuve portrays Empress Catherine the Great of Russia.
