Round 4: The Police

5. (Fast Track) “Roxanne”
WI $51,000 ID $62,000
The ladies from Milwaukee nailed it at 1.19

That was a sweet win for Kiarra & Kim, bringing the amount they get to take home up to $25,500. Jamie Foxx will always remember them because of the fantastic puppet Kim gave him. Michaela & Christine get to try to beat Shazam for a cool million next.

One Million Beat Shazam Round – 6 songs
First 5: $25,000 each. They only get a shot at the million if they get all 5 right. There are no multiple choice screens and they have to know the song’s exact title before Shazam to be right.
1. DISCO: “Gloria” (Laura Branigan) – Michaela got it.$87,000
2. COVER SONGS: “Red Red Wine” (UB40) – It’s kind of like Who Wants to be a Millionaire the way Jamie likes to “are you sure” mess with them. Michaela was sure right!$112,000
3. OLDIES: “Sugar, Sugar” (The Archies) – Another victory and another $20,000$137,000
4. POP: “Cooler Than Me” (Mike Posner) – Michaela said “Closer.” The million was now off the table.
5. FLEETWOOOD MAC: “Dreams” – Michaela said “Gypsy”
They began the round with $62,000 and finished with strong>137,000.

Now Michaela & Christine have to make the mother of all stressful decisions: take that $137,000 back to Boise or play more song. If they can beat Shazam on this last song, they will double their money to $274,000. If they get it wrong, they will be left with $68,500. The ’90s was the category they would have to deal with and the ladies felt confident enough to try to beat Shazam. Michaela went front and center again and said the title was The Goo Goo Dolls 1998 hit “Iris.” Unfortunately, it was The Goo Goo Dolls’ 1993 hit “Name.” The ladies still had a blast and they had $68,500 to split between them.
