Wednesday’s clue was the only triple stumper this week, so we can say that was the toughest in a week where most of the other clues only produced one correct response. The one day that 2 players got FJ! was when there were only 2 players left in FJ!
Khalilah Walters returned on Monday but was defeated by Kyle Dallman. He lost to Leanne Gonzalez-Singer on Tuesday and Hemant Mehta won on Wednesday. On Thursday, Felicity Flesher became the champ and she broke the long spell of one-day champs on Friday. She will return in 2 weeks, after the College Championship tournament.
Here is the “FBI Quantico” category that was in the first round of Wednesday’s game from Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel Those were some long-arsed clues, weren’t they? Still, all the clues in that round were uncovered. Four clues in the last round weren’t, including one of the Daily Doubles.
“Long-arsed clues” indeed! 🙂
LOL Cece ! They also seem to read them sooooooo sloooooow.
Reaaaaaaaaly. They made me yawn, lol.
On another note, when I read that the songwriter of Ain’t No Sunshine had died, I thought about you. The reason for that is because I’ve told you a couple of times in the past that I know a lot of songs for years without knowing who sings them or their titles. I’ve known and loved Ain’t No Sunshine for decades, but had no clues who sang it. Until the dude died. SMH…
That’s a great song. Bill Withers had a bunch of ’em but my favorite is “Use Me”
btw, I have been adding “Died On” (this day) to the birthday lists and now when someone passes away, I move their birthday entry to that list and it says how old the person was. It makes me feel better than just taking them off the birthday list after a year (like I used to do). It’s a little spooky seeing who died on the same date sometimes though, like whatever J. Edgar Hoover was thinking when Senator Joe McCarthy died on 5/2/1957, it wasn’t “I’ve got exactly 15 years to live.”
You can’t help but move with the beat of this song, what a gorgeous arrangement! Yes, I love it more than Ain’t no sunshine.
“…it wasn’t “I’ve got exactly 15 years to live.” Hahaha!
