The easiest clues this week for the players showed up on Wednesday and Thursday. Monday’s clue only got one correct response and it was an easier clue than the 2 that no one got. Out of those two, Friday’s clue was harder because they just didn’t give enough in the clue to reasonably expect the players to figure it out in 30 seconds. They had another clue in that same match that they had to give a reversal on because it was unclear what the “blame it on” reference was to. And it’s weird that they only mentioned London and Vienna in the FJ because a slew of 2009 articles say that the study was actually conducted by the University of Amsterdam!

Jordan Nussbaum returned on Monday only to be defeated by Kelly Griffin. Andrew King sent Kelly home on Tuesday by keeping a little more in the kitty than she did. On Wednesday, Scott McFadden took over the crown and won every match for the rest of the week. He will play his 4th game on Monday.

Scott’s $33,601 on Thursday was the week’s top payday. It put him on the Top 10 payouts of Season 34 at No. 9, knocking Scarlett Sims off the list and demoting Osman Syed to No. 10.
