If you missed any of the games, click on the date for the recap with the Daily Doubles and a triple stumper or two. More clues from this week’s games are on Fikkle Fame’s archive.
Wednesday’s FJ clue was voted the hardest of the week and it was the only triple stumper. There was a problem with Thursday’s clue that affected the responses enough to get one player invited back. We think it’s a tossup between Monday and Friday for the easiest clue.
Brandon Brooks returned on Monday and won his second game. He was dethroned on Tuesday by Lindsay Resnick. On Wednesday, Gilbert Collins became the champ and won every game the rest of the week. He’ll be back for his fourth game on Monday.
In a week where no one won close to $20K, Brandon’s $16,600 was the biggest payday. So no one got on the Top 10 Daily Payouts of the season.
Here is a video clip from Friday’s chat that Jeopardy! put up on its twitter channel, showing one of Gilbert’s sons in the audience. What a cutie!
How precious Gilbert’s son is, what a cutie!
I hope that Gilbert continues to win.
VJ, you dissed Venus (Freya) in favor of two Thors above. (This is a test, lol!)
LOL, Cece. Love the test and I think I passed it 😉
Indeed. Next time I’ll make it harder, like, mathematical. 🙂
uh oh! I’ll be sunk!
We hope somebody gets a $20K+ payday during the week of 1/15-1/19.
We hope Gilbert makes another $30K+ and doubles his kids’ percentage 🙂
We’ll see.
