The FJ!s in the first and last games of this week were triple stumpers. You had to have a little deeper knowledge of the topics to get those two clues! On Tuesday and Wednesday, only one player was correct. By now, most of us were well used to seeing tough FJ!s in the tournament. Then suddenly, in the very last match, the easiest clue of the entire tournament showed up. How weird was that?

Justin Bolsen and Maya Wright were the winners of the last two semi-finals. They joined Jackson Jones in the two final matches on Wednesday and Thursday. Jackson had a great game and a big lead on Wednesday, thanks to a softball FJ! that favored the leader. On Thursday, he caught a few bad breaks and the final clue was a real curveball. Nobody got it, but Justin bet wisely and won the $100,000 grand prize along with a spot in the next ToC. Jackson won $50,000 and Maya won $25,000.

Regular games returned on Friday along with host Ken Jennings and 3x champ Stephen Webb. Here is the Final Jeopardy! round

Stephen won that game and will return on Monday to try to cement his standing in the next ToC. (As a 4x winner, he qualifies for the ToC, but as a 5x champ, he’ll get a guaranteed spot.)
