He wisely left with the $50,000 he had.

Dad had nothing to add. Kennedy filled in the remaining blanks to come up with “that we’ll always find the right way”. With nothing to lose and another possible $25,000 to gain, she locked in those lyrics. But, they were wrong so she had to get on the road again with the $25,000 she won.
