Christmas Penguin Parade

Everland, the largest amusement park in South Korea, brought out their penguins bedecked in Santa Claus and reindeer outfits, much to the delight of the youngsters. Aren’t they adorable?

Did you know that South Korea is the only east Asian nation that recognizes Christmas as a public holiday? Christmas is commonly called “Seongtanjeol” but the official Korean name fixed by law is “Gidoktansinil.”

In South Korea, Christianity and Buddhism are the two major religions in South Korea.
