Wendy Williams Defends Snooki
Snooki’s right to a star on the Walk of Fame, that is.
Talk show host, Wendy Williams thinks its unfair that they’ve banned reality stars from getting a star on the Walk of Fame. It’s about being famous, she says, and Snooki and Teresa Giudice are far more famous than some actresses and actors who already have stars.
It was a little weird and could have proved awkward, especially when she asked guest, Debbie Allen, how she felt about. Debbie had no idea who The Situation is. Need we point out that a lot of The Situation’s fans have no idea who Debbie Allen is? Be that as it may, Debbie also pointed out that “they” (people who have stars) worked for that right. And also paid. Debbie said she paid $2,000 for hers. The price is a lot steeper these days.
We have no idea who Wendy might have been referring to as not as worthy of a star as Snooki, but here are the celebrities who will be getting stars on the Walk of Fame in 2012 for their accomplishments on TV:
Valerie Bertinelli (One Day at a Time), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond), Adam West (Batman), Walter Koenig (Star Trek), Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order) and Marg Helgenberger (CSI).
Are they more worthy of a star than Snooki, or what?
