Supporting Cast of You’ll Never Walk Alone – Ray Donovan

Here are some of the actors who appeared in the 1-19-2020 episode of Ray Donovan (You’ll Never Walk Alone). The episode recap is over here.

Emily Rose Richardson in Ray Donovan

Emily Rose Richardson as Bridget Donovan

Emily Rose Richardson played teen Bridget Donovan. On the left is how she appeared to Ray when he was burying Jim Sullivan in the woods. On the right is how she looked standing outside of Planned Parenthood after Jim Sullivan gave her money to go and get an abortion. It was very obvious that Bridget was coerced into having sex with Jim Sullivan. You could see how intimidated she was and how she dared not talk back to him. She called him “Mr. Sullivan.” He was a ruthless and powerful man and it’s possible he threatened to kill Ray or Mickey or both.

headstones of Mary and Bridget Donovan

RIP: Mary Campbell Donovan and Bridget Elizabeth Donovan

As you can see by the date of death on her headstone, that happened on May 15, 1987. As you can also see from her date of birth, she just turned 18 years old 2 months earlier. We don’t know how long that had been going on but we do know that 18-year-old single pregnant girls were often tossed out of the house in the 20th century and considered a disgrace to the family. Perhaps that also played some part in Bridget’s despair. In any event, Massachusetts has some screwy age of consent laws (like a 16-year-old can legally consent to have sex with an adult), so we doubt that Jim Sullivan would have ever have been charged with rape even if she went to the authorities.

Ryan T. Conors in Ray Donovan

Pop-Tarts are good.

Ryan T. Conors played teen-age Bunchy in this episode. In the previous episode, he was portrayed by Patrick Ryan Wood.

Skyler Gallun in Ray Donovan

Want some eggs?

Skyler Gallun played teen Terry Donovan. He was making eggs for breakfast. Bridget must have made her own because she already had a full plate when he offered her some.

More Notes:
• As I have often said, this is my favorite show and Season 7 is now my second favorite season. (Season 2 is my favorite.) The only thing that continues to irk me is how the Donovan boys continually blame Mickey for the decisions they make as adults. It’s not even like they are young adults. Here they are in their 30s and 40s and still blaming Mickey for everything. In this season, for example, Mickey didn’t tell Daryll to go rogue with the stock certificate and make a deal with Declan. That was his own idea and that’s what got his girlfriend killed. Smitty could have listened to Daryll and Bridget and just not went with Mickey to make the exchange with Kevin.

• Season 8 has not been announced yet but the rumor is that there will be one and it will be the last. Could Mickey possibly still cash in on those stock certificates? Probably not. For all intents and purposes, Jim Sullivan is now a missing person and can’t be declared legally dead for quite a while. Maybe the stock will tank when that news gets out and Kevin Sullivan can send Mickey a thank you note because he still has $25 million in the briefcase.
