Garen Scribner played the guy who was giving out temporary tattoos at Rose Beach. He offered to lay one on Ray and also called him Tab Hunter. Seriously, we don’t think that Liev Schreiber resembles Tab Hunter one dang bit. She’s your mother?

Hunter Canning played the bartender at the Dusty Bottoms. He left Aunt Sandy a message that she left her credit card there. Ray went over there looking for a lead on Mickey and said he was Sandy’s son. The bartender marveled: “What was it like growing up with her?” Before Ray could get around to any questions about who “his mother” was with, he heard Mickey’s voice and went off after him.

More Notes:

• Ray must have been working for Jim Sullivan when Mickey was set up to take the fall for the ’77 heist. That would explain why Mickey has always blamed Ray for the 20 years he served in Walpole. There’s a clip on Showtime’s Ray Donovan channel of Mickey and Jim Sullivan coming face to face in Episode 7.

• Who do we think that Ray is fist-fighting with in the Episode 7 preview? It’s gotta be Declan Sullivan. Maybe we will find out more about his horrible history that his father referred to.
