It’s the world that’s trembling

Daniel Oreskes played the Shaman that Liberty took Terry to meet. The Shaman is a mysterious guy. There was a group of people dancing around when Terry was lying on Mother Earth so the Shaman does have an established following but he ought to at least have a name. We also want to know if Terry has to pay him any money for his help. Terry never said anything about his experience at Liberty’s place to his family. We don’t expect this new age healing business to work out well and wonder if the rest of the Donovans are going to be too involved in their own problems to check up on Terry. Will there be a crisis now that Terry isn’t taking his meds?

Gunmen? You shot a kid in the back who is now in intensive care.

Patrick O’Neill played Michael, the Value Drug store manager. Bunchy quickly went from hero to zero when Michael informed him that the boy he shot in the back is in critical condition and Bunchy might be fired or sued. Forget that– Bunchy might get charged with attempted murder. Last week, someone was comparing Bunchy to Bernhard Goetz, “The Subway Vigilante.” Compare that case to the Joe Horn case in Texas.

Well, it sounds like some Donovan bull*&@! to me

The last time we remember seeing Daryll’s mother Claudette (Sheryl Lee Ralph) was in the Season 2 finale. Mickey and Daryll went to her home where Mickey attacked her husband, Alan, and Claudette kicked them both out and told Mickey she never wanted to see him again. Aside from finding out that Daryll was having trouble with the law, it must have been quite a shock to come to New York City for Mickey’s funeral (for Daryll’s sake) and then see Mickey sitting in Ray’s car! We wonder if Claudette is still married to Alan (Paul Michael Glaser, formerly Starsky).

Oh, and one other thing we hadn’t noticed the first time we saw that scene: when Ray got back in the car and drove off, we saw that a New York City squad car was parked right behind Ray the whole time.
