Royals Sweep White Sox With 3 Straight Come From Behind Victories

At the beginning of the season, the Chicago White Sox got off to a terrific start, grabbing the early lead in the American League Central, while the Kansas City Royals got out of the gate a little slower. In recent weeks, the White Sox have started to skid a little, while Kansas City built some momentum.

The White Sox went to Kansas City for a three game weekend series May 27-29. Chicago was 27-21 with a half a game lead in the Central, while the Royals were in third place at 24-22. Chicago had been carried along by some good pitching, but that pitching, in particular the bullpen, let them down over the weekend as the White Sox blew leads in each game and lost all three.

The Royals were down 5-1 on May 27th, and rallied to win 7-5. They trailed 4-2 in the eighth inning of the May 29th game and scored three times in that inning to win 5-4. The biggest comeback was in the May 28th game, where Kansas City was down 7-1 entering the bottom of the ninth. All the Royals did was score seven runs in the ninth to win 8-7.

Chicago went into the action on Memorial Day in third place two game behind new division leader Kansas City.

Shall we start talking about the I 70 series now?
Or, shall we book that underachiever pipeline parlay: Sharks- Cubs? Lol: or the Pittsburgh parlay?
    Bay Area tri-fecta? Tempting.
They all seem fun, but not as fun as the payoff for the country’s best sports fans: Cleveland parlay (two team: no one is that crazy)! Lol
