Midnight Cowboy: 1969 Best Picture

“Anne of the Thousand Days” got the most nominations (10) at the 42nd Academy Awards, and “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” won the most awards (4), but neither of them won Best Picture. That honor went to “Midnight Cowboy” starring Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman. They were both nominated for Best Actor, but that one went to John Wayne in “True Grit”.
