I’ve been noticing how Muffy is “upping her game” as the show progresses. She must be really studying. I like her competitive spirit and enjoy watching her especially when she defeats Ken. She’s like a kid in a candy store.

    • VJ says:

True, Jacob, and Jonathan doesn’t seem to be able to defeat her, try as he might.

Ken seemed to be a little off his game yesterday and esp today. Idk why he even buzzed in on that flag question if he wasn’t sure. Then on the clue about the Pulitzers, idk why Eliot even occurred to him. I don’t think Eliot could even be considered for a Pulitzer after he became a British citizen in 1927.

    • JJ says:

I agree with both of you on all counts! Muffy has REALLY stepped up her game and Jonathan, who is the designated “trash talker”, continues to be left in the dust. Muffy’s enthusiastic desire to win (aka defeat Ken Jennings!) Is fun to observe. The other Master Mind who shows the same intense, yet fun-loving passion is Ryan Chaffee. The next time he’s on, watch his eyes when Brooke is reading the Qs. His gaze reminds me of the stare of a Doberman Pinscher with an overactive “prey instinct”!

      • Muffy Marracco says:

I’d like to think I have the intensity of a poodle — considering the name — but yes, beating Ken is a delight.

        • JJ says:

I’ve seen some pretty intense poodles in my day, Muffy, some maybe comparing yourself to that breed is fitting! Plus, it’s well established that they’re also one of the smartest breeds of canine, too. Yet another reason to take on the moniker of…”Muffy Marracco: The Peerless & Preeminent Poodle of Master Minds”!”
I love watching you compete, Muffy! Keep up the good work, girl! (Or should I say, “Keep up the good work, ‘woman'” ?!) 😉

  2. VJ says:

This week I’ve been wondering what would happen if none of the contestants rang in during the second round and I thought I was going to find out today on that American flag clue — the one that you see just about every single day but never paid attention to that detail, except maybe when you were in school, drawing a picture of the flag 😁
