Here’s a summary of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Tuesday, August 27, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. Today’s episode title is “One for the History Books.”
The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

In Round 1, Bryant chose WOMEN IN HISTORY instead of Eight-Legged Creatures and he chose expert Jonathan. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Jonathan gets it wrong.

In Round 3, Debra chose NUTS and not Careers. The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. David is this round’s expert.

That was a perfect round for Debra. She wins $1,000 and gets a chance to win $10,000 by taking on a set of 5 more questions and getting more of them right than Muffy. She would also return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 3 shows and wins $30,000, gets to join the Best Ever Trivia Show’s expert team.

@VJ, In Round 3, #1 I think you meant “George Washington Carver experimented with peanuts as a way to add what important nutrient to depleted soil” and not George Washington. GW was the cherry tree guy. 😊
