Here’s a recap of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Friday, July 12, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. This episode’s title is “My Brain is Spinning.”

The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

Eric, Amy, Emanuel – Eric is a returning champ. He won $10K yesterday.

In Round 1, Eric chose EXPLORERS instead of Chemistry and he chose expert Ryan. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Ryan gets it wrong.

In Round 2, as the leader, Eric picked Chemistry and not Classic Cars. 100 points for each correct answer. Jonathan was this round’s trivia expert to beat for double points.

In Round 3, Eric chose FAMOUS RELATIVES and not Accessories. The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. Arianna is this round’s expert.

They skipped the third question because Eric had 1150 and Amy and Emanuel had no chance of beating him. Eric wins $1,000 at this point and gets another chance to win $10,000 by taking on a set of 5 more questions and getting more of them right than Arianna. He would also return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 3 shows and wins $30,000, gets to join the Best Ever Trivia Show’s expert team.
