This week, there were 3 consecutive triple stumpers in Final Jeopardy! A lot of folks seemed to think the Wednesday clue was the easiest of those three. To me, that one was the hardest. What can I say? I don’t watch superhero stuff these days and just didn’t know that film was set in World War I. The easiest clue of the week was Thursday’s.
I featured this clip from the title song of that musical as a Friday Mystery Song one week last year.
Brayden Smith won his 5th game on Monday, securing a spot in the next Tournament of Champions, but he lost the next day to Manisha Munshi. Yoshie Hill sent Manisha home and won her second game. She lost on Friday to Jim Gilligan. Yoshie had the lowest payday of the week on Wednesday and the highest on Thursday!
ICYMI: This video features Mike Richards, Jeopardy!’s executive producer, talking to the Today Show about Alex Trebek’s last week. Jeopardy’s tribute video is on Friday’s recap.
Yes, I don’t watch superhero movies either. They just aren’t my thing.
Thanks so much for posting the Today Show video, VJ, and for also posting the tribute to Alex on last night’s recap. The show will never be the same to me without him.
I miss Alex so much
