There was one right answer on Monday and one again on Tuesday, which was better than the triple stumpers we started out with last week. On Wednesday, everyone got the final clue. (Wed 6/28 was the last triple solve.) The last 2 days of the week produced 2 correct responses in each game. Monday’s clue was rather controversial. Many people misread it (including yours truly). We can’t really say that was the hardest but it was surely the most confusing. Tuesday’s clue was tough for folks who don’t follow the Olympics much (also including yours truly), but we see that one like the bible clues. The difference is there is a lot of griping about the bible clues — not everyone reads or studies it. You don’t see it so much with other categories you could say the same about.
2x champ Alex Gordon returned on Monday but lost his 3rd game to James Tyler. On Tuesday, Justin White sent James home. It was Ittai Sopher’s turn at the first podium on Wednesday and he held on to that distinction another day. Ittai lost his third game to Daniel Moore on Friday when Daniel had a runaway game. Despite losing $4K on Final Jeopardy!, he also had the week’s top payday.
Here is “Band Across the Decades” from Friday’s game.
