It was a one or none week, with 2 triple stumpers and only 1 player getting Final Jeopardy! right on the other 3 clues. On Friday, there were only 2 participants in Final Jeopardy! I have no idea which clue was the hardest but I would nominate Thursday’s “Born or Died” clue for the easiest.
This week’s winners:
Mon 5/19/25 $27,300 Mitch Loflin
Tue 5/20/25 $13,599 Brendan Liaw
Wed 5/21/25 $25,199 Brendan Liaw
Thu 5/22/25 $20,600 Brendan Liaw
Fri 5/23/25 $25,601 Jim Carpenter
We had 3 champs this week. Returning champ Mitch Loflin won another game and a total of $35,700. Brendan Liaw took over on Tuesday and won 3 games and $59,398. Jim Carpenter took the honors on Friday and he will be the returning champ on Monday. Unlike the previous 2 weeks, nobody finished with less than $10K and Jeopardy! has to shell out $112,299 to this week’s winners. Compare that to last week’s $58,400!
Jeopardy! also paid out the usual $15K in consolation prizes. Mitch got $3,000 and Brandon got $2,000 of it.
Watch Brendan scoop up $10,000 from the $2,000 row in the last round of Tuesday’s game.
