Tuesday’s clue was a tough clue to unravel in 30 seconds and still have time to write down the answer so no correct answers was no big surprise. The easiest for the players was Thursday’s clue. It was the first triple solve in regular play since February 25th. The rest of the clues were on the easy side but don’t ask me what happened Friday. I am too familiar with the answer to judge the clue from the standpoint of people who are not. Alex Trebek assumed that Shawn just forgot Yale’s location, and the same thing happened to Morgan.
Jesse Laymon was the returning champ. He was up to $43,400 and going for a third win, but he lost to Ben Scripps. Ben won his second game on Tuesday lost on Wednesday, then lost to Nathan Berger. Shawn Buell won on Thursday and Morgan Wilbanks sent him home on Friday. For the next two weeks, we’ll be watching the Teachers Tournament so we won’t see Morgan again until June 8th.
Here is the “Graphic Novels” category that was in the last round of Friday’s game, from from Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel
