In the last week of April, we saw one more correct response in Final Jeopardy! than we did in the first week of April! Of the three triple stumpers, Wednesday’s Hollywood History clue was possibly the toughest. I don’t think I can fairly pick the hardest of the two clues with one correct response. The easiest for me was Thursday’s, combining history and poetry.
The best thing about this week was that the title of Jeopardy! champ was bestowed upon 5 people. Emma Hill Kepron returned on Monday to try for a third win, but she was defeated by Dillon Hupp. Johanna Stoberock took the honors on Tuesday, then lost to Jesse Matheny on Wednesday. On Thursday, Eric Anderson was the winner. The week ended with another new champ on Friday when Kevin Belle won. Kevin will be back on Monday when Mayim Bialik returns to host the rest of Season 39.
From the looks of the payouts, you might think that the 2 correct FJ! responses were on Monday and Friday. Actually, they were on Monday and Thursday.
Here is the category MO-“V” from Tuesday’s game.
