Monday’s clue was the hardest, unless you knew a thing or two about boxing or Oscar Wilde. We voted Tuesday’s clue the easiest and the results bear that out. Interestingly, the contestants fared better with the one we thought was second hardest (Thursday’s cowboy clue) than the other two. Two players did know Friday’s, however, but just didn’t have enough time to write it all out.

Jeopardy! champs, week of February 3, 2020

It was a week of one-day champs. Gauravi Shah returned on Monday and lost to Vinny Byju. He lost to Danyelle Long-Hyland on Tuesday and she turned the first podium over to Josh Gruenberg on Wednesday. On Thursday, Brooke MacKenzie prevailed and on Friday, Terry Heard Jr. wowed everyone with a daring Daily Double that turned the game into a runaway.
