Can anybody explain to me why Ken Jennings keeps saying the first player with three wins gets the best of seven? If things stay the way they are with Sam Buttrey at no wins, Amy could be the first to reach three wins in the tournament, but if Andrew nips the last two, he will have four wins to Amy’s three. Or vice-versa.
What am I missing?
Okay, a little Googling led me to the answer: The term “best of seven” is mis-used. It really is the first to win three. I think a true best-of-seven would be perhaps a little more appropriate.
Stupid proposed answer for the subject. Hebrews does not have the form of an epistle. The Greek vocabulary and grammar are not Pauline. The argumentation of Hebrews is not Pauline. Based on my studies, the author was a companion of Paul and well acquainted with his teachings. The odds that the author was Paul are probably less than 5% among New Testament scholars.
Looking back, there are 21 comments, but I didn’t say anything! Go figure.
Paul didn’t write Hebrews!
