Here’s a recap of the clues on Master Minds (Season 3) for Monday, February 27, 2023 with host Brooke Burns.

The show’s format pits 3 contestants against each other and 3 Master Minds against each other. There are 3 rounds and the contestant with the highest score wins $1,000 and faces off in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge against the winning Master Mind. If the contestant beats the Master Mind, the prize money goes up to $10,000.

Round 2: There are 5 subjects and questions. No multiple choice. Correct answers are worth 200 points for the first 4. The last question is worth 400 points. At the end of the round, the person with the lowest score on each team is eliminated.

The Beast finished with 3100 to Muffy’s 4400 so Muffy will join Joe in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge. If Joe beats Muffy, he will win $10,000 and return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 2 shows and wins $20,000, gets to join the Master Minds expert team.

Muffy and Joe tied with 2 right responses so Joe gets to play the Ultimate Trivia Question. He does not have to beat Muffy on this one. He just has to get it right.

    I was surprised no one got #3 correct in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge. That’s one of those words that stick with you when it comes to genealogy. Regardless of how many Biblical revisions there have been that word was always unique imo because of it’s repetitiveness. I bet it was a head slap after it was revealed to both Muffy and Joe.

      I was also astonished that they didn’t get that word, Jacob. Muffy, at least, seemed to know what they were talking about but was going for a modern translation (which mostly repeat the word “father”).

      It reminded me of a comment I made years ago about how I would rather read this part of the Bible than Hannibal Hamlin’s genealogy. lol
