I missed it the first time this show aired: in the first round, on the clue with “CRF” and dialysis, Avi said “renal failure”, and they gave it to him. It should have been “chronic renal failure” – the C was right there! Not specific enough!!
The answer in question:
CRF is this chronic problem that might be treated with dialysis.
He didn’t include it because it was already given.
Huh. Maybe that’s why I didn’t notice it on the first airing!
