Fun Fact: Before we know who wins this tournament & $1,000,000. 2 Players: Brad Rutter & Bob Verini won 1 Tournament, and both times, it was the Tournament Of Champions. Brad Rutter in 2001 & Bob Verini in 1987, while 1 Player: Eric Newhouse won 2 Tournaments: The 1989 Teen Tournament & The 1998 Teen Reunion Tournament.

Damn FJ! I could only come up with 1 of the films, 1 of the PMs. Yeah, I got the 2 protons. Meh.

I thought Chuck had won that game (by reputation). I was nicely surprised to watch Bob’s performance.

  3. Lou says:

This should be an exciting two day final. Pretty stiff competition so far and chuck almost had a spot in the finals. Someone could win big in the finals and it all depends on Bob, Eric and Brad. Why did claudia choose eight in the final? Unless she miscalculated something?

    • Richard Corliss says:

Well, Claudia chose eight because she didn’t know much about awards.

      • Howard says:

Maybe she DID know Hanks won two Oscars, but didn’t know the other two factors.
And she scribbled her answer at the last moment.
Some may disagree, but I would call her the most annoying contestant ever. Her exuberance is over-the-top.
