If that wasn’t the best game of the year, I don’t know what was. Dean wagered his way into a seeming lock game, until it wasn’t. Matthew charged back and Jacqueline fought hard too. Dean wagered wisely in Final, enough to beat her by $1 if she went all-in. I did think both guys would go all-in though. I DQ’d myself from FJ because I accidentally clicked on the wrong day’s recap this afternoon. But I probably would have said George Eliot too. Knew the first 2 DDs, a lot of the other clues, but none of the stumpers. The Joe Buck category was tailor-made for me.

We could see Jacqueline again someday, and they’ll probably find a way to bring back Dean in one of those bogus tournaments. Champions Wild Card, or whatever they call it.

Maybe this game would be enough for Dean and Jacqueline to make it to the Second Chance.

Dean doesn’t need a second chance. He already won $36K as a champ.

It was the most amazing game of the week. Wild!

This game has to be on the shortlist for Game of the Year at next year’s Jeopardy Honors. It looked like Dean was going to have the same result as yesterday after quadrupling his score. Matthew came all the way back after being down by 16,600 to take a small lead late in DJ! Jacqueline came storming back at the end to get her score into five figures. This was really a great game. Tomorrow is the last game of the season. Whoever wins gets to spend the summer as a Jeopardy champion.
