I was 3/3 on DD and got FJ. Now, what I am going to say is 100% true. When the FJ category came up, I said “Plymouth Rock. The Stone of Scone. The Hope Diamond.”

    And there it was!

Andrew kinda a bit rubbed me the wrong way. Just a little too demonstrative. But, regardless, bulletproof contestants.

What a terrific game and exciting finish. Scott rallied down the stretch like a champion racehorse to seize the critical lead. Both challengers were super-engaging, although Andrew was a bit over the top. Good on them for all getting Final; I totally blanked. I did get 1st/3rd DDs.

I’m certain I saw every episode of the Denzel show between 1982 and 1989. The $200 sororities clue has a couple of key words that all but give it away. I thought the Phoenix-area mountain would be known. I was very impressed someone got the Yiddish word; was sure that would stump them.

  3. Rick says:

Well, it turned out to be a very competitive game, and with all three contestants coming up with the correct response for FJ. Unfortunately for us, none of us could come with the correct response. Regarding Andrew’s initial response as per the name of the nearest star, he was wrong the first time. I mean, Ken should have never followed up by asking him to be more specific.

  4. Sam in Seattle says:

I’m impressed! Scott seems like such a nice guy and a very deserving TOC contender

  5. VJ says:

Amazing! Scott made up for the last 2 days and how!

  6. Kevin Cheng says:

Scott is the 4th player this season to run the whole week by winning all 5 games in a week. We have 10 games left this season.
