I like Meggie, and wish her a strong win tomorrow. Having both seen the movie with Peter O’Toole and read Alistair MacLean’s biography of Lawrence as a pre-teenager, I had the correct final jeopardy response immediately, “Who is T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia).” This is my seventh Final Jeopardy! panel skunk of the year, equal to my success for the entire calendar year of 2019. Hope they shoot some more original shows . . . I’ve got almost seven months left of 2020 to beat by own personal best.

Sen. Joe McCarthy (WI-R) born in Wisconsin, did not have a Southern drawl.

    Two words: OH MY!

I fully expected this FJ NOTABLE BRITS to be a super-easy Triple-Get — and for top teachers no less. Quite strange. Apparently they never even saw the recent epic 1962 color film starring Peter O’Toole in the eponymous title role. I will never ride a motorcycle barring a life-and-death situation and never have–far too dangerous.

  5. Ismael Gomez says:

Rough show as we got a triple stumper.

  6. William Weyser says:

Let’s hope that we get an easier clue tomorrow, because I don’t want what happened in the 2004 College Championship, the 2017 Tournament Of Champions, and the Wild-Card Match of the All-Star Games to happen for a 4th time, where Final Jeopardy! is not kind to anybody in both Final Jeopardy!’s in the 2-Game Finals in a tournament, but then again, I don’t work for the show. So, I can’t control tomorrow’s Final Jeopardy!. However, the 1 thing that I can say to T.E. Lawrence/Lawrence of Arabia is… SHAME ON YOU!

    • Richard Corliss says:

Let’s hope Meggie will be the second women to win the tournament.

      • VJ says:

        I’m rooting for Will

        • Anne says:

I’m rooting for Ben. Just found out he was my nephews choir teacher in 2016-17!!

        • VJ says:

That’s cool, Anne… Now all 3 have cheerleaders on the board 😁

Also cool that he was your nephew’s choir teacher!

        • Anne says:

Thanks VJ. My nephew is high-functioning autistic and my sister said Ben was a great teacher. My nephew,Owen, is now in college studying biology but it’s a struggle for him:(

  7. Lou says:

Well, after today’s game I wanted to say that some of the answers from Will and Meggie were not quite what I expected. Here is why:

    1. Wilt Chamberlain wasn’t born in 1935 as he didn’t learn how to ride motorcycles back then. since 1936 was his birth year after Lawrence died previously, Wilt is a basketball star who died in 1999 from a heart attack brought on by stress and not from the motorcycle accident. Not sure why will chose him. Second, the yellow river is near my home town of Zhengzhou in Henan province, China and not in vietnam.

    2. Aston Martin is a company that makes the car for James Bond which he drives just like in the movies such as die another day, tomorrow never dies, especially in the games, Nightfire, Everything or Nothing, Agent Under Fire. I am sure Lawrence never drives the Aston Martin.

Those are my two cents VJ, I hope you have noted them because I hope what I have said is correct?

    • VJ says:

Lou,, he was referring to Neville Chamberlain, the man who was the English Prime Minister back then.

  8. Richard Corliss says:

Let’s make that mistake and turn it to something great.
