Final Jeopardy: Famous Structures (6-3-25)
Here are some more clues from the 6/3/2025 Jeopardy! game. Please don’t put the answers to these clues in the comments so people who missed the game can have a chance to answer them. It is okay to refer to them by category and clue value or by part of the clue.
A DOUBLE SHOT OF WHISKEY ($600) North-of-the-border whiskies include Caribou Crossing & this other “C.C.” named for its popularity in social establishments
ME & JEFF DANIELS GOT A HISTORY ($600) Me & Jeff go all the way back to when he played Flap Horton, Debra Winger’s cheating husband, in this weepy 1983 film
($1000) Jeff nailed it as this ex-FBI director in a miniseries based on his memoir “A Higher Loyalty”; the G-man himself gave J.D. high marks
DOWNTOWN NEAR FIFTH STREET ($200) The “Fifth Street” in Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is presumably 5th Ave. in this city, not far from the Johnny Cash museum on 3rd
EVERYBODY’S AT THE “BAR” ($200) This kind of place to eat; Southern Living magazine says a “restaurant” has printed menus; a “joint”, chalkboard ones

Yesterday, I went to the eye doctor before Jeopardy! Nikki had to go to the 4th grade graduation for her twins, so I had to do the whole recap by myself with dilated eyes!
I had my right hand fingers on the wrong keys, that’s why I typed 88 instead of 99 for Peter’s bet. I put the line about the not played clues at the end of the first round instead of the last. So despite blurry vision, I only messed up 2 things.
That’s pretty good! yay me! 👍🤣🤣🤣
Well VJ, no one here was complaining so you must have done a splendid job despite the handicap.
Well, Rick, sometimes there’s a mistake or two even when Nikki is helping. I was just happy with the way this one turned out despite the blurry vision and the headache it gave me!
Well, I’m impressed! When they dilate my eyes, I’m practically blind. As usual, your work is amazing
Thanks, Sam!
Darn, I’d forgotten that the Skydome had changed its name to Rogers Centre, so I blew that one.
Stell-uh! She was stellar in the 2nd round while Geoff went nearly silent. Ken practically browbeat her into going all in on the 2nd DD, but it worked out. Other two were not difficult, that one was for me.
Snake River in Iowa? Hardly. And no one took a shot on the location of the Johnny Cash museum? The 1983 movie is a classic and won awards, yet no one took a guess on that one, either.
Peter’s wager in final jeopardy is actually $3,599.
I wonder why Geoff went radio silent in the second half of DJ. He didn’t look like he was struggling with the buzzer.
It was good that Stella was able to show some life during the interview. During the game, she was flat, on target, and locked in.
Oh, and, FJ was an easy one for me (and my wife). In fact, during COVID, the Toronto Blue Jays became the Buffalo Blue Jays, as they played in Buffalo because they couldn’t otherwise come and go across the border!
It was another great game, and Stella became the new Jeopardy champion. Well, I haven’t been in touch with the MLB games for some time so I was unaware of the incident in Rogers Centre. Anyways, I went with the Metrodome Stadium in FJ for lack of anything better, but I knew that the dome was torn down some years ago.
There were 3 clues unplayed in DJ! so once again we didn’t get to see all 60 clues in this gane.
