3/3 on DD, but missed FJ. I said “Apple”. It seemed kinda, I don’t know, niche, maybe? I mean, I have to go to the Depot website to be reminded of their logo. Also, being 2 colors didn’t really help. I don’t know, maybe I’m the dope!

Each of the players was a slow talker, so, I wasn’t surprised when they didn’t finish the second board.

As to the Rod Stewart version of the Isley Brothers song, I concur, VJ. Here in Buffalo, though, the biggest song by the Isley Brothers is “Shout”. “The Bills are makin’ it happen now. Yeah yeah yeah yeah!” In fact, it was licensed by the Bills.

It’s also done by U of Oregon fans at football games, in the third quarter I think. I don’t recall if it was in “Animal House,” but that was filmed at U of O.

Matt is sure impressive and looks to be tough to beat. Not ashamed to bet large on DDs too.
DDs/FJ left me stumped. Only listed stumper I knew was the Stewart/Isley song.

  3. Debra Choquette says:

Matt won $30.000 on Tuesday and $28,000 on Wednesday that adds up to $58,000.

  4. Judith Barr says:

I don’t know who you got to add up the totals, but they should go back to school, and learn how to add. In today’s program (June 11th, Matt’s total was $28,000. On Tuesday’s program, he won $22,001.- That makes it $50,001.00, NOT$58000. This is not the first time, they have screwed up, the totals. Also, they use different names for the contestants.

    • Vj says:

It was Jackie who won the $22,001 on Monday, Judith.

It’s true we make mistakes sometimes and my math skills leave a lot to be desired, but we get a lot more right than wrong! And we have good manners.

  5. Ismael Gomez says:

And we got a triple stumper in the final since today’s final was tough.

  6. Olympia says:

You have yesterday’s scores on the early spoiler instead of today’s

I thought Rob would get a reversal on his response to the $1000 Rod Stewart song clue. The clue asked for the title object, not the title (see the Sneak Peek clues on p. 2).

That’s really an Isley Brothers song but I think the reason they went with the Rod Stewart cover is because the original has (is Weak for You) in the title. So maybe they did want the full title but the clue was worded badly.
