That was a horrible bet on the end by Kaberi. On the last question, the leader should only risk the lead for a runaway.

Personally, I think all 3 contestants played well tonight. What tipped things in Kaberi’s favor was her large wager on her 2 DD’s.
I’d like to see the coryat scores. I used to keep track of them but haven’t recently. I have to wait and read them on J Archive.

It seemed like a who buzzed in first contest to me. The clues weren’t very difficult at all. Kaberi seemed to be having trouble getting in there between the other two so good for her for taking full advantage of it when she got her chance.

All the same, I was very surprised none of them knew the South Korean president’s name

I don’t watch Jeopardy! any more, among other reasons because the FJs have become too easy (as today’s certainly proves). I just see what’s going on by coming here.

I’m in my usual confused state. I was thinking this was Week 2 of the Teachers’ Tournament, but Peter is called the “new champ”. I don’t get it. [insert confused emoticon here]

That’s my fault, Tom, for not proofreading better. I had some distractions going on here today, but thanks for pointing it out so I could fix it

I picked Kaberi to win this but it wasn’t looking good. Then she pulled it off with those DDs. Yay! Peter answered the $1600 clue in Mythology and could have picked the DD but he zigged back to the Lion category.

The rest of those Mythology clues are on page 2 of this post, as well as the other 2 triple stumpers.

PS That was a terrible impression of one of my favorite characters, the Cowardly Lion

VJ, I’m really interested to see who will join Kaberi in the 2-day finals tomorrow and Wednesday. Peter and Nicole, although you’ve passed the last test, and you’re both going home with $10,000, you will not pass beyond this.

I didn’t think much of his “smell of napalm in the morning” impression either.
