Rose was quite the match for Tristan. She wagered brilliantly on Final, too. I knew Killer Sudoku would be upheld, and thought maybe “obtuse angle” might also be adjudged as correct, but the 2nd part of the clue is what made her response wrong. I wiped out on all the DDs and FJ. Knew Dylan and Brenda (never saw the show) and the Dodsworth author.
Tristan needed to be correct in final jeopardy for the first time in his run.
It looked like Rose was going to finish in the lead for a while, not that it would have mattered in the end.
So far, I think Tristan’s second game was the only one where he didn’t finish in the lead.
Tristan becomes the third player this season to become a suoerchampion. The last time we had three superchampions in one season is Season 38. Rose played really well and I think that we’ll see Rose again in Second Chance next winter.
