WHO IS GANDHI?

While growing up in India, Mohandas Gandhi took a dim view of Christian missionaries. He didn’t believe they practiced what they preached. At age 18, Gandhi traveled to England to study law, causing him to be shunned and excommunicated from his Hindu caste. In England, he read the Bible and found that Christ’s message in the Sermon on the Mount resonated with his own beliefs.

Gandhi sought to reconcile the teachings of Christ with the teachings of his own religion, while choosing at the same time to remain a devout Hindu. Gandhi supposedly said, “If it weren’t for Christians, I’d be a Christian,” after he was denied entry to a Christian church in Calcutta. Ironically, he was still being shunned by some members of his own caste.

Sunil came up with Lewis. That cost him $799 and left him with $1.00.

Rose tried Hubbard. She lost $4,501 and finished with $12,199.

Tristan got it right. He bet $12,201 and won the game with $33,401. Tristan is now a superchamp with a 10-day total of $221,902.

Tristan becomes the third player this season to become a suoerchampion. The last time we had three superchampions in one season is Season 38. Rose played really well and I think that we’ll see Rose again in Second Chance next winter.
