Jeff has a rather gruff demeanor and was not very likable, IMO. They practically handed him the DD answer (Chief Oshkosh) but he didn’t catch on.

“Rosetta Stone” as a large $$ question? Not only is it a leading language software program, but they put the word “stone” in the clue. I don’t necessarily agree, but there’s been some rumbling lately about errors and quality of the clues by some in the Facebook group for former contestants.

The final was cake if you knew the Space Needle was the centerpiece of that World’s Fair.

Kind of a lame game tonight. Way too many wrong answers and stumpers. I predict Amanda won’t last long. Depends, of course, on the caliber of the opponents and the categories. She blew a lock game tonight by ringing in on the last question in DJ and missing it. (A similar thing happened to me, but in a different way.)

I have my 2nd trip to Wisconsin set for September, for the Ryder Cup golf tournament. I had a room booked in Oshkosh but switched to one in another city when the tourney was delayed a year.

Has anybody had a Zoom audition?

Has anybody taken the Anytime Jeopardy test?

  3. Ismael Gomez says:

With all 3 DDs missed, we got our fifth washout of the season.

    • Quinn says:

      The other washouts were:
      9/16/20
      10/5/20
      12/11/20
      3/16/21
However we do have a good new champion today but I am hoping to see a streaker soon.

  4. VJ says:

I know Dave was wishing he got that Chief Oshkosh Daily Double!

    • Lou says:

I agree with you vj I would love to see him getting that as well. Today’s game didn’t work out for John but I am Glad he got final jeopardy. I am looking forward to seeing the tournament of champions soon, and hopefully a streaker for the second half of May. We had a skunking in the daily doubles today, but hopefully tomorrow that won’t happen.
