Really surprising only one contestant got FJ. Robert F. Scott famously died in Antarctica some seven years before the prize offer. How could people not associate 1927 with Charles A. Lindberg? Some Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy were vastly harder. I always wonder how difficulty levels get assessed and assigned.
So I was looking up that $2K Celebes clue in the Sweet Isle of Mine category. Apparently, that was its old name. Its current name is Sulawesi. Most of the places I looked online don’t say when that change occurred. Wikipedia says it came into common usage following Indonesian independence (1945). Just passing along what I found out — don’t know what to make of it as far as the game goes .

Funny how my brain got tripped up on that DD by “…treating a disease with specific drugs.” I was like, what, don’t all diseases get treated that way? Total fog. Like that.
LOL — same here. I couldn’t process that but I don’t feel bad about it I got a 12-letter word for that clue: preposterous.
I did feel bad for Buzzy but since he only bet a little, not too bad.
Lol, that12-letter word fits the clue perfectly. What were they doing? Splitting hairs? We all call the medication used to treat all diseases drugs.
I was surprised this game had less TS than yesterday. It seemed like quite a few to me.
Alex’s rudeness is getting out of control (I know he can’t help himself). How could he have told Buzzy that he was probably not good at the piano. Smh. It reminds me of the show The Golden Girls (I watch reruns), when Dorothy covers her mother’s mouth with her hand so she won’t say something inappropriate to someone and embarrass her.
LOL – I bet Alex sees it as clever banter but it comes off as borderline obnoxious. Loved the way Buzzy shut that down. “Good enough for Carnegie Hall.” ha ha – Right back at ya ! Didn’t look like Alex was expecting that comeback.
