Why did Natalie only rang once in the Double Jeopardy Round?

  3. Richard Corliss says:

Natalie was on a roll in the Jeopardy! Round, but then Tyler got rolling and neither she nor Nibir were able to catch him and Nibir got a wild card.

    • Howard Groopman says:

That was so odd–Natalie was superb in round one, and I’m not sure she rang in even once in round two. If she did, it was early. After that, she disappeared. At least she didn’t come up with “non compos mentis” for the final.

Congrats to all the semifinalists. I hope they all do well next week. Thanks for putting up the list of the participants, Richard. Also VJ I used to study Latin in elementary school but it’s been forever since I haven’t taken a course on it in general. I know reis ipsa loquitor, reis gestai, habeus corpus. Which Latin phrases are you more acquainted with?
