WHAT IS “SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN”?

According to “Singin’ in the Rain” trivia on IMDB, homeowners using their lawn sprinklers caused the low water pressure problem when they first tried to film the “Singin’ in the Rain” sequence and they had to do the number over the next day. Gene Kelly’s widow, Patricia, confirms that in a Radio Times interview, but she says that “milk in the water” stuff is “really preposterous. What it was, is really, really terrific cinematography and lighting.”

A 2007 clue: WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF? ($600) If you have pluviophobia, the fear of this weather condition, we probably won’t find you “singin’ in” it

Sarah went with “The Wizard of Oz”. She didn’t bet anything so she stayed at $5,400.

Jessica got it right. She bet $12,000 and finished with $24,000.

Sid got it, too. He bet $7,474 and won the game with $25,874. Sid Katz is the new Jeopardy! champ.

Jessica played well for three days but I don’t think she is added to the toc. We shall see how long sid can last. Speaking of singing in the rain, VJ. Are there any record albums that have gene Kelly and the best of his music, or maybe a cd rom of his best hits? Sarah couldn’t build any rhythm today.

    • Albert says:

Did you ever see ‘Xanadu’ with Gene Kelly?

      • Lou says:

I think I did, but I might check if there is a dvd available for that. Furthermore, it’s been forever since I last saw that movie
