Long found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Here’s Your Report Card” under the $600 clue on the 14th pick of the round. He was in last place with $1,600, $5,000 less than Stephen’s lead. Long bet it all and he was RIGHT.

The top 5 landlocked countries in the world by area are: Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Chad, Niger and Mali. Wikipedia has a sortable chart of all the landlocked countries. You can figure out all kinds of things with that chart. For instance, Kazakhstan is almost twice as large as Mongolia and its population is approximately 6x more than Mongolia’s.
Long got it right. He bet it all and doubled his score to $800.
Jessica got it right, too. She bet $5,000 and finished with $11,000.
Stephen crossed off Mongolia and went with Kazakhstan. He lost $2,000 but won the game with the remaining $16,000. His 6-day total is $155,281.

As to Final, I said to my wife, “Mongolia. Kazakhstan is number one!” Then, Stephen’s answer came up!
If only the Daily Doubles were kind to the challengers in DJ! round, both of them would have won the game. Darn those daily doubles to the challengers.
