    I just picked my captain and two contestants for the All star games. Julia Collins, Larissa Kelly & Jennifer Giles.

    • VJ says:

      Oh yeah, everybody that wants to participate in the Fantasy League should head over to Jeopardy.com and pick their

      FANTASY LEAGUE TEAM

      Don’t ask me how it works. It says “stayed tuned for more info” on there, but it involves a Lindblad Expedition trip for some lucky winner

    @JJ
    Don’t feel too bad. “Moliere” and “derriere” rhyme, so just consider “ear” an insertion, like an extra line! I was just trying to pull your leg!🤣🤣🤣

  3. VJ says:

    Well, that was cool how Dave rallied in the last half of the second round. He only had $6K when Bernadette got the second DD in that round. And it was also cool how he got his props for getting all the answers in the Film category. Elizabeth could have regained the lead if she knew the answer to the last clue in that category but she didn’t.

    What a way to start off the week, an impressive run that could end up in a big payday, and indeed it was. Kevlar? No, it’s a last name, I suppose. Brooks? I am not with familiar with that? Has anyone know what happened to the Brooks Brothers firm?

    • John B./I. says:

      @JCA
      It still exists. Now owned by an Italian billionaire Brooks Brothers has about 700 stores in almost 50 countries.

  5. Lou says:

    At least now we have two players getting this right. Congratulations to the retired police officer on such a gutsy move. But Kevlar? No that is actually a vest used by the police officers in field situations. Not sure what Bernadette was thinking putting that down. How did she not know the Mayo Clinic John and VJ? I am pretty sure Dave knows Kevlar vests were not invented by siblings. Dave’s moustache reminded me of Marty Cunningham’s looks

    • John B./I. says:

      @Lou
      Dave – as a retired police officer- must have gotten a kick out of the “Kevlar” answer…..
      It’s also used by the military and pretty much all law enforcement agencies, like DEA , FBI, NSA, even the CIA etc….

  6. John B./I. says:

    David bet a little more than he had to but it did not put him in danger so Congratulations to him. Had he been wrong and Elizabeth right he would have lost anyway. But can somebody please explain to me the rationale of her wager? I tried back and forth but can’t find any sense or explanation.
    As far as Bernadette’s answer is concerned: it is either kind of hilarious or she has no idea what Kevlar is and that it was invented in the mid 1960s. If you give each president just a 4 year term, the clue mentioned 40 presidents=160 years…..If she was giving a funny answer, then: good one!

    • John Christian Ambion says:

      @John B./I. Bernadette might’ve just guessed, but it was wrong, anyway.

      • John B./I. says:

        @JCA
        Kevlar is a synthetic material, similar to nylon (only tougher) that is used especially in law enforcement and the military for bullet proof attire.

  7. Richard Corliss says:

    Dave’s mustache looks a lot like Frank Spangenberg’s mustache.
