Christopher found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Lesser-Known Siblings” under the $1,000 clue, with 2 clues to go after it. He and Sherri were both in the red to the tune of $100. Katie had $4,500. Christopher bet the 500 allowance and he was RIGHT.

Katie found the first Triple Jeopardy! Daily Double in “Pew! Pew! Pew!” under the $800 clue on the 5th pick of the round. She was in the lead with $11,500, $7,800 more than Christopher in second place. Katie bet $3,000 and drew a blank so she was WRONG.

Katie found the next Daily Double in “You’re a Homophone, Diane” under the $1,200 clue on the 16th pick of the round. She was in the lead with $11,800 now, $6,600 more than Christopher in second place. Katie bet $1,000 and came up with chimpanzees. That was WRONG.

Christopher found the last Daily Double in “Alaska” under the $900 clue on the 21st pick of the round. He was in second place with $7,900, $3,500 less than Katie’s lead. Christopher bet $2,100 and he was RIGHT.

WHAT IS REMEMBER THE ALAMO?

The short video from Smithsonian gives the basics on the Battle of the Alamo, which took place from February 23 to March 6, 1836, ending in a Mexican victory and the deaths of all the Texans inside the fort. Rallying to the battle cry “Remember the Alamo”, the Texans later beat the Mexican army in the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21, 1836, achieving independence.



Sherri responded with “life or liberty” and lost her $825 bet. She finished with $75.

Christopher got it right and doubled his score to $17,600.

Katie also got it right. She bet $3,500, which resulted in a $17,600 tie with Christopher. A tiebreaker was needed and the category was “French History”:
