Burt found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “One-Word Song Titles” under the $1,000 clue on the 6th pick of the round. He was in second place with $800, $600 less than Andrew in first place. He bet $1,000 and he was RIGHT.

Burt and Andrew finished in a tie with $5,600. Steven was last with $3,600. No clues went uncovered.

Round 2 Categories: U.S. History – What’s the Gossip? – 20th Century English – They Did It – Go West – Young Man or Woman

Burt found the first Daily Double in “U.S. History” under the $1,600 clue on the 4th pick. Once again, Burt and Andrew tied in first place with $6,800. Burt bet $3,000. He was RIGHT.

Andrew got the last Daily Double in “Go West” under the $1,600 clue, with only 1 clue left after it. In first place with $23,600, he had $12,800 more than Steven. He bet $1,000. He was RIGHT.

Andrew finished in the lead with a runaway $24,600. Burt was next with $9,800 and Steven was in third place with $10,800. No clues went uncovered.

Burt said the little duck and got it wrong. He bet his whole $9,800 and finished with $0.

Steven crossed out his first answer Puss in Boots. He couldn’t come up with anything else and that cost him $9,000, leaving him with $1,800.

Andrew wrote down The Little Mermaid. He lost his $2,999 bet but won the game with the $21,601 he had left.

    Great! We almost made it through our 1st week of the season without any Double or Triple Stumpers, and then… “Curse You, Thumbelina!”. Oh, well. We’ll try again next week.

    Apparently none of the contestants are fans of disney cartoons so I got this one with ease And also nice to meet you Nikki! I honestly thought this was a very easy final. This should not have been a triple stumper as I remember thumbelina in my childhood years. But it’s been forever since I saw the movie. @ Kevin, VJ is in the hospital for a procedure, and so nikki is filling in for her mom.
