Round 1: Marie found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “A Little Reading” under the $800 clue. She was in the lead with $3,000, $400 more than Rob in second place. She made it a true Daily Double and took a guess with “The Secret Garden.” That was WRONG.

Rob finished in the lead with $6,200. Ricky was second with $3,600 and Marie was last with $1,000.
Round 2: Marie found the first Daily Double in “Nature’s Wonders” under the $1,200 clue. She was in third place, $200 in the red, so that was $9,200 less than Rob’s lead. She bet the $2,000 allowance and thought it was an iguana. That was WRONG.

Rob found the last Daily Double in “Giving Thanks” under the $1,600 clue. In the lead with $9,000, he had $3,000 more than Ricky in second place. He bet $3,000, and he was RIGHT.

Rob finished in the lead with a runaway $18,800. Ricky was next with $8,000 and Marie was back on the plus side, in third place with $1,400.
Only ONE of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
NATO: Member Countries reports: “At present, NATO has 28 members. In 1949, there were 12 founding members of the Alliance: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States….” Of all NATO members, Iceland and Luxembourg are the only ones with under one million populations. Luxembourg exceeds half a million.

Marie thought it was Belize. She lost her $1,399 bet and finished with a buck.
Ricky thought it was Belgium. He didn’t bet anything though so he remained at $8,000.
Rob got it right. He bet 2,000 and won the match with $20,800, and he is the new Jeopardy! champ.
Rob Russell is a tutoring director. During the chat, he and Alex talked about the names of two of his children. He named his daughter Lucinda after Lucinda Williams. His youngest son is named Declan after Elvis Costello, but they call him Ozzie after Ozzie Osbourne.
